Socrates said

“My advice to you is to get married. If you find a good wife, you’ll be happy; if not, you’ll become a philosopher.”

Does this apply to women? If we don’t find a good husband, can we be a philosopher?

    What does a philosopher do?? Sit down, hold up a pencil and think. My kind of job ~_~.
    The statement is actually true though, unmarried ppl tend to be wiser and clear-headed than married ones.

    @penembusbatas : does that mean …. ?
    @ pong2 : hmm i think what socrates was trying to say is : you cant be a philosopher if you’re unmarried, you can only be one if you’re married to a certain kind of woman
